GOODBYE MARIANNE

Berlin 1938. The Nuremberg Laws are eroding civil rights of German Jews and Hitler’s “Final Solution” is only four years away. But a lifeline was provided to thousands of Jewish children. They were separated from their parents, relocated and survived certain death thanks to the efforts of the British Government. This is the story of Marianne Kohn, a young Jewish girl who escaped the brutality of the Nazi regime through the Kindertransporte. Performed for school students October 17-20 with public performances in the theater. (See above dates.)

A family musical based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
Storywagon: FLORIDA STORIES
*Auditions for adult actors January 6 & 7 at 10 am
February 8 at 10 a.m.
February 22 at 2:30 p.m.
The Storywagon rolls onto the stage bringing stories from folklore, history and legend to life, giving audiences a glimpse of the “real” Florida. Touring to area elementary schools with performances at the Sands Theater Center. (see above dates)
THE HOBBIT

Bilbo Baggins, a comfort-loving Hobbit, finds himself drawn into a suspenseful, fast moving journey through Middle Earth. Adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy classic, this Storybook Theater Company production is performed by middle and high school students.
OZMA OF OZ: A TALE OF TIME

July 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 2:30 p.m.
An original play, based upon L. Frank Baum’s “Ozma of Oz.” Familiar characters, as well as strange new ones are woven into a timely story, in which Dorothy returns to Oz. A Storybook Theater Company summer production casting upper-elementary and middle school students.
